The single-floored castle of square foundation is situated on the cliffs above the river Kupa. It is built on a very attractive location with a magnificent view of the Kupa valley, a small village Riblje and neighboring Slovenia.
The inner courtyard features arched hallways, and cylindrical towers adorn the outer corners of the castle. The window grates are of baroque shape. The castle dates from the 15th century, but it was remodeled to its present look in 1800. It is surrounded by a hundred years old park and the St. Florijan chapel - the park has been declared a nature monument.

The most western monastery of the Eastern Orthodox Church, which also houses the church of St. Jovan Preteča, is in Gomirje, 5 kilometres from Vrbovsko. The monastery was founded in 1600 and the church construction began in 1719. The Eastern Orthodox church of the Gomirje monastery is a single nave building, built as an annexe to the three-winged single-floored monastery. Traces of baroque decorations are visible on the inner walls. Since it was built, the monastery has served as a renowned spiritual centre of the Eastern Orthodox Church and it will certainly keep its reputation.

This 17th century church is a single nave building with a trilateral end, a domed vaulting over the aisle and a lateral church tower which probably originally served as a defensive facility. Extremely interesting quality inventory has been preserved within the church such as wooden, carved, polychromed and gold-plated altars. Furthermore, wooden baroque-style furnishings are luxuriously carved: three gold-plated and polychromed altars with a reliquiary, a sacristy, confessionals and pews. Due to all the above mentioned rarities, this church is one of the most valuable sacral monuments of Gorski Kotar.

This church is one of the oldest in Gorski Kotar. According to the parish priest, the present church was built somewhere around 1573. It is a building of late-Gothic style, set at a higher ground in the centre of the town. The church has got a single nave, a semi-circular chancel and a massive steeple. Due to the diligence of the priest and his congregation, the church garden is a small wonder in horticultural design. Therefore, in 2002 it has been awarded the Green Flower with a silver mark from the Croatian Tourist Board in the category - the most beautiful sacral monument of continental Croatia.

The original parish church was built in 1755/56. Due to its run-down state, it was demolished in 1887, and the construction of a new church began in 1893. It was finished in the autumn of the following year, but in 1901 it was once again torn down for its weathered condition. Immediately after the demolition, the building of the new, present-day church began, finished and consecrated in 1904. The parish church of St. Ivan Nepomuk in Vrbovsko sits on a sweep of lawn above the main road. It is a large building with a cross-shaped ground-plan and a polygonal chancel; the steeple was added to the northern church wall. The church was built in the neo-Gothic style, and the outer facade is richly adorned by buttresses and recesses. The interior of the chancel, the side chapels and the nave are arched over in neo-Gothic style. The church has got Neolithic altars; some of its most ancient inventory includes the so-called sunny monstrance, the brazen gold-plated ciborium and the gold-plated brazen chalice. Besides the paintings depicting the Way of the Cross, there are also two paintings donated to the church by Mary Therese: one portrays the Assumption of Virgin Mary, and the other shows the Austro-Hungarian prince Rudolf with his horse and a priest visiting an ailing man.
